In LIFT we meet four people who travel together everyday, up and downward, from home to work and back home again. Everyday they spend a few minutes together. Apart from the time and space they share going to the office, they appear to have little in common. The dance performance LIFT is a research on the transition from private to public. How do we behave ourselves towards one another in a limited space? How much do we give in and can we enter someone’s personal bubble?
